Our Mission & Goals

At Phase Movement, our priority is to work with clients who might not be at their fullest or prime movement potential.

This might mean helping to rehabilitate a new or old injury, trying to find better support and control in relationship to a new or old condition, like:

  • Pregnancy / Postpartum Support

  • CP

  • Stroke

  • Fibromyalgia

  • EDS, etc.

  • Recovering from surgery (post rehabilitation)

  • Developing more advanced movement skills for athletes/dancers

  • People that just want to gain the benefits of healthy movement to lessen chronic non-specific pain.

We help people who are curious about how their body moves and looking to build strength and physical support — but maybe have not ever felt comfortable in a gym or yoga studio.

We work with clients to develop a strong mind body connection to help improve physical repetitive strain/stress issues as well as mental health support for anxiety and depression. How you feel about how you move matters, and when you have control over your movement, you have the tools to move effectively towards the goals you want to achieve in your daily life.

Phase Movement also works with post rehabilitation patients- finished your health insurance covered rehab, but still not fully confident in your movement? Phase can help support you to integrate your therapy rehab practice into your daily life at a pace that fits you and your needs, not your health insurance company.

During a session, all issues are addressed through activity/movement analysis, muscle/fascial manipulation, therapeutic use of joint range of motion, movement re-patterning and Pilates exercises. Our goal is to bridge the gap of OT, Pilates, movement and the healthcare system, while creating support and tools to develop a stronger mind & body connection.

MEET CADY EDDY:

A Master of Movement

Cady is now scheduling one-on-one private clients for online & in-person sessions, to help you get back to life.

For almost two decades, Cady has worked with clients to solve physical issues from chronic pain, pregnancy, postpartum, orthopedic surgery, and mental health. Issues are addressed through muscle manipulation, movement re-patterning and Pilates exercises. She is a movement specialist that has both directed and taught in Pilates Teacher Training Programs, and specialty workshops, including basic anatomy and injuries/special populations.

Through her work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pilates teacher, and an education specialist, Cady realized there was a large gap between patients completing a rehabilitation program and getting back to every day life. With the belief that healthy movement is incredibly valuable to our overall wellbeing — her goal is to bridge the gap between OT, Pilates, movement and the healthcare system.
